Soms hebben we iets als een heel sterk verlangen of een projectie, het idee dat datgene wat in je geest verschijnt — als je het krijgt — je leven veel beter zal maken. En dan komt het op de een of andere manier naar je toe. En na een tijdje, als je open bent, realiseer je je: dit is het niet. Het is het niet. Het kan best oké zijn, het is misschien geen verschrikkelijk iets, maar het is niet het ding waarvan je dacht dat het zou zijn. En ik spreek hier heel breed, en breed is goed, want dat betekent dat veel mensen kunnen horen wat ik deel — of het nu gaat om een carrière, of een relatie, of een gezin, of een soort vakantie, wat het ook is.

Cosmetische chirurgie, veel geld hebben, een goede baan hebben. Als je merkt dat je een van die mensen bent voor wie zelfs dat niet genoeg is, God zegene je, want je staat op de rand van een grote zegen. Want in werkelijkheid is waar je naar zoekt: thuis zijn in je eigen hart.

En het is mijn gelegenheid om dit met je te delen, want in de menselijke uitdrukking van bewustzijn zijn we altijd naar iets op zoek. Het is nooit tevreden. En als het tevreden is met het verkeerde, dan is dat heel, heel slecht, want op de een of andere manier… Nou, dat is niet helemaal eerlijk om te zeggen, want misschien moet je daar een tijdje tevreden mee zijn.

Maar het leven is er voor ontwaken, voor ieder mens. De kans om een lichaam en een lichamelijk bestaan op deze planeet te hebben, is de kans om te ontwaken. En de meesten van ons redden het niet, niet in één leven, misschien in opeenvolgende levens.

Maar hier, voor degenen die hier zijn gekomen, ligt de nadruk op het bekendmaken van die mogelijkheid, en het omvormen van die mogelijkheid tot waarschijnlijkheid, en die waarschijnlijkheid tot realisatie. Dus je hebt er op een bepaald moment in je leven voor gekozen om hier te komen. En dit is waar het om draait hier, in Sahaja, met mij, op dit moment.

We kunnen niet garanderen wat de toekomst brengt. Ik heb op geen enkele manier zorgen over de toekomst, want die gaat altijd gepaard met subjectieve projecties. Net als het verleden zelfs, waar we zoveel gevoel bij hebben — het lijkt iets solide en echts.

Dat is gebeurd, maar het gebeurde voor een subjectieve waarneming, en het is niet werkelijk. Zelfs je verleden zal daarin meegaan. Maar ik roep hen — in een heel helder, mooi en liefdevol appel — ik roep op tot ontwaken.

Het moet in het nu zijn. Er moet in jou de puls van nu-zijn zijn, want de rest is allemaal geest en ego. Dus dit is de gelegenheid, voel ik, om dit te blijven aanbieden, want er is iets in ons dat gemakkelijk in slaap valt.

En ik heb het niet over: “Oh, we moeten gespannen zijn en rennen en opgewonden zijn over ontwaken.” Maar degene in jou kent dit — de ware. En tot die spreek ik, van daaruit spreek ik, en daarheen richt ik me: om uit het geheel te komen in het geheel, uit de heelheid van de persoon in de heelheid van de eenheid, van genade, Gods aanwezigheid in jou — en werkelijk gelukkig te zijn, eeuwig gelukkig.

God zegene je en dank je. Ik hou van je.

Sometimes we have something like a very strong desire or projection that the thing that is appearing in your mind, if you get it, then your life is going to be a lot better. And then somehow it comes to you. And after a while, if you are open, you realise it's not it. It's not it. It may be fine, it may be not a terrible thing, but it's not the thing you think it would be. And I'm being very broad here, and broad is good because it means that so many people can hear what I'm sharing, whether it is a career, or a relationship, or a family, or some kind of vacation, whatever it may be.

Cosmetic surgery, having a lot of money, having a good job. If you find that you are one of these people for whom even this is not enough, God bless you, because you are on the edge of a great blessing. Because actually what you are searching for is to be at home inside your heart.

And it's my opportunity to share this with you, because in the human expression of consciousness we are always looking for something. It is never content. And if it is content with the wrong thing, it's very, very bad, because somehow ... Well, that's not fair to say, because maybe you have to be content with that for a while.

But life is for awakening, for every human being. The opportunity of a body and a bodily existence on this planet is for the chance to awaken. And most of us don't make it, not in one lifetime, maybe in successive lifetimes.

But here, those who have come here, the emphasis is on making known the possibility, and making that possibility into probability, and that probability into a realisation. So, you have chosen, at some point in life, you have chosen to come here. And this is what is the focus of being here, in Sahaja, with me, at this time.

We cannot guarantee what the future is about. I have no concern about the future in any way, because it is always attended by some subjective projections. As is the past even, that we feel so much, it is something solid and real.

That happened, but it happened to a subjective perception, and it is not real. Even your past will follow it. But I call to those in a very bright and beautiful and loving call, I call to awakening.

It has to be in the now. There has to be the pulse of now-ness in you, because the rest is all mind and ego. So, this is the opportunity, I feel, to keep presenting this, because there is something in us that easily falls asleep.

And I am not talking about, “Oh, we must be tense and running and excited about waking up.” But the one within you knows this, the true. And it is to that that I am speaking from, and towards that which I am speaking, to come out of the whole into the whole, coming out of the whole of the person, into the wholeness of oneness, of grace, God's presence in you, and be genuinely happy, everlastingly happy.
